- 8 oz cream cheese (or whipped cream cheese)
- 1/2 cup sugar for cheesecake layer

- 1 cup cherries, pitted and chopped (fresh or frozen)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Melt butter and chocolate together in a saucepan over low heat. Stir until smooth and cool slightly.
- Add sugar and eggs to the chocolate mixture, mixing well.
- Sift in flour and salt, folding carefully until combined.
- Pour the brownie batter into a prepared baking dish lined with parchment paper.
- For the cheesecake layer, beat cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla in a bowl until creamy. Add the egg and mix until just combined.
- Drop spoonfuls of the cheesecake mixture onto the brownie batter and swirl gently with a knife.
