Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cream together the softened butter and all-purpose flour in a large mixing bowl until they form a dough.
- Roll small amounts of dough into balls and place them on a greased baking sheet, making a thumbprint in each.
- Mix the cheddar, mozzarella, and garlic in a bowl, adding fresh herbs.
- Spoon the cheese mixture into the thumbprint holes of the dough balls.
- Bake for 18-22 minutes or until golden brown.
- Cool on the tray for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
Allow butter to soften before mixing for a flaky crust. Avoid opening the oven door while baking to maintain temperature.
