Fun and delicious Cheesy Halloween Breadstick Bones that bring joy to your Halloween traditions.
Ingredients

- 1 store-bought pizza dough or homemade dough
- 4 oz mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 4 oz cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 tsp garlic powder or 2 cloves fresh minced garlic
- 1 tbsp fresh oregano or basil (or 1 tsp dried herbs)
- 1 egg and a splash of milk for egg wash
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- If using store-bought dough, let it sit at room temperature for about 20 minutes.
- Divide dough into equal pieces and roll each into a long strip, tapering the ends.
- Make a small incision in the center of each strip and insert half an ounce of cheese, then pinch closed.
- Brush with egg wash on top.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and cheese is bubbling.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving with marinara or garlic dipping sauce.
Notes
Feel free to substitute cheeses and experiment with flavors. Whole wheat flour can enhance nutrition.
