  • 1/2 cup cream or whole milk
  • 1 cup mushrooms (fresh button, cremini, or shiitake)
  • 1/4 cup chopped onions
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Fresh herbs (chives, parsley, or thyme)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cut the biscuit dough into smaller pieces and spread them along the bottom and sides of a greased oven-safe skillet.
  3. In a separate skillet, heat a drizzle of olive oil over medium heat. Sauté onions and garlic until fragrant, then add the mushrooms and cook until tender, about 5 minutes.
  4. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper. Stir in half the cheese, the sautéed vegetables, and fresh herbs.
  5. Pour the egg mixture over the biscuit base in the skillet and top with the remaining cheese. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the egg is set and the top is golden and bubbly.
