Instructions

  1. Prepare the Pie Crust: Roll out the pie crust and refrigerate it.
  2. Make the Apple Filling: Peel, core, and slice apples, then toss with sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Let sit for 10 minutes.
  3. Prepare the Cheesecake Filling: Beat the cream cheese until smooth, then mix in sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until combined.
  4. Assemble the Pies: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Layer apple filling, cheesecake filling, and more apple filling in the crust. Cover with a second layer of crust if desired.
  5. Bake: Bake for 30-40 minutes until crust is golden and filling is bubbly. Cool for at least 20 minutes before slicing.
  6. Serve: Top with whipped cream if desired and serve warm.
