- 8 ounces of cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Open and layer the crescent roll dough in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish, sealing gaps.
- In a bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
- If desired, mix in sour cream and lemon juice or zest.
- Pour the cream cheese mixture over the crescent roll layer, spreading evenly.
- Top with another layer of crescent roll dough, sealing again.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden and bubbly.
- Let cool for 10-15 minutes before serving.
Notes
For a golden top, brush with an egg wash before baking. Letting the casserole cool helps for easier cutting.
