- 1 cup fresh pitted cherries, chopped

- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, beat the softened butter with both sugars until fluffy and light in color.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then pour in the cherry soda.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually combine with wet ingredients.
- Fold in pitted cherries until evenly distributed.
- Drop tablespoons of dough onto baking sheets, spacing them apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden. Cool slightly before transferring to wire racks.
