Instructions

  1. Peel, core, and slice the apples into wedges. Toss them with cinnamon and set aside.
  2. In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Sprinkle in sugar and stir gently until a golden caramel forms.
  3. Layer the apple wedges in the caramel, arranging them tightly, and cook for about 10 minutes until softened.
  4. Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface to fit your skillet and place it over the apples, tucking the edges.
  5. Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F for 25-30 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown.
