- 4 medium Granny Smith or Honeycrisp apples, peeled and sliced
- 1 cup caramel sauce, divided
- 1 cup old-fashioned oats
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, toss the sliced apples with cinnamon and half of the caramel sauce. Spread this mixture into a greased baking dish.
- In another bowl, combine oats, flour, brown sugar, and melted butter. Mix until crumbly.
- Sprinkle the topping evenly over the apples.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until the apples are tender and the topping is golden brown.
- Drizzle the remaining caramel sauce over the crisp and serve warm.
Notes
For best results, let the bites cool for a few minutes before serving. They pair wonderfully with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
