  • 1 cup caramel sauce, divided
  • 1 cup old-fashioned oats
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, toss the sliced apples with cinnamon and half of the caramel sauce. Spread this mixture into a greased baking dish.
  3. In another bowl, combine oats, flour, brown sugar, and melted butter. Mix until crumbly.
  4. Sprinkle the topping evenly over the apples.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the apples are tender and the topping is golden brown.
  6. Drizzle the remaining caramel sauce over the crisp and serve warm.

Notes

For best results, let the bites cool for a few minutes before serving. They pair wonderfully with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
