Description
A flavorful dish that combines buttery salmon with sweet Cajun spices, perfect for family dinners.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 Salmon Fillets (skin-on recommended)
- 2 tbsp Honey
- 4 tbsp Butter
- 2 tbsp Cajun Seasoning
- 3 cloves Garlic (minced)
- 2 tbsp Lemon Juice
- Fresh Herbs (parsley or green onions for garnish)
Instructions
- Pat the salmon dry with paper towels.
- Sprinkle Cajun seasoning generously over both sides of the salmon.
- In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 30 seconds).
- Add honey and stir well, allowing it to bubble slightly (1-2 minutes).
- Place salmon fillets skin-side down in the skillet and sauté for 4-5 minutes without moving them.
- Flip the salmon, pour the honey-butter mixture over it, and cook for another 4-5 minutes until it flakes easily with a fork.
- Sprinkle with fresh lemon juice and garnish with herbs before serving.
Notes
Use a fish spatula for flipping to prevent breaking the salmon. Let the salmon rest for a few minutes after cooking for the best texture.
