- 1 cup Toffee Bits

Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Brown the Butter: In a light-colored saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat for 5–7 minutes, stirring constantly until golden and nutty.
- Mix the Sugars: In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooled brown butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar. Beat until creamy.
- Add Eggs and Vanilla: Mix in eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.
- Combine Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, espresso powder, and sea salt.
- Create the Dough: Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined, then fold in toffee bits.
- Scoop and Bake: Drop dough onto a lined baking sheet, bake for 10–12 minutes until edges are golden.
- Cool and Enjoy: Let cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
For extra chewiness, underbake the cookies by a minute or two. Can substitute toffee bits with chocolate chips or nuts.
