- 4 ripe pears, halved lengthwise
- 100g blue cheese, crumbled
- 50g walnuts or pecans, chopped
- 2 tablespoons fresh thyme or rosemary, chopped
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons balsamic reduction
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Wash the pears and slice them in half lengthwise, scooping out the center.
- Combine crumbled blue cheese, chopped nuts, and herbs in a bowl.
- Stuff the cheese mixture into each pear half.
- Arrange the stuffed pears upright in a baking dish and drizzle with honey.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until tender and the cheese is bubbling.
- Drizzle balsamic reduction over the baked pears before serving.
Notes
Serve warm, drizzled with balsamic reduction over a bed of mixed greens. Pairs well with light white wines.
