Description

Delicious BBQ Grilled Prawns marinated with garlic, citrus, and herbs, grilled to perfection for a summer favorite.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb fresh prawns, deveined and peeled
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tbsp lime juice
  • 2 tbsp fresh herbs (cilantro or parsley), chopped
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Prep the prawns by deveining and peeling, leaving tails intact.
  2. Make the marinade by whisking together olive oil, minced garlic, lime juice, herbs, paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  3. Toss the prawns in the marinade ensuring they are well coated. Let marinate in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Preheat the grill to a medium-high heat, approximately 400-450°F.
  5. Thread the marinated prawns onto skewers (soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes prior).
  6. Grill the skewers for 2-3 minutes on each side until the prawns are pink and opaque.
  7. Serve hot, drizzled with fresh herbs and lime juice.
