Delicious BBQ Grilled Prawns marinated with garlic, citrus, and herbs, grilled to perfection for a summer favorite.
Ingredients

- 1 lb fresh prawns, deveined and peeled
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 tbsp lime juice
- 2 tbsp fresh herbs (cilantro or parsley), chopped
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Prep the prawns by deveining and peeling, leaving tails intact.
- Make the marinade by whisking together olive oil, minced garlic, lime juice, herbs, paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Toss the prawns in the marinade ensuring they are well coated. Let marinate in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat the grill to a medium-high heat, approximately 400-450°F.
- Thread the marinated prawns onto skewers (soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes prior).
- Grill the skewers for 2-3 minutes on each side until the prawns are pink and opaque.
- Serve hot, drizzled with fresh herbs and lime juice.
Notes
Avoid overcrowding the grill to ensure even cooking. Keep an eye on cooking time as prawns cook quickly.
