- 2 ripe bananas
- 8 ounces dark chocolate
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of sea salt
Instructions
- Mash the ripe bananas in a mixing bowl until smooth.
- In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the dark chocolate and butter together, stirring until smooth.
- Combine the melted chocolate mixture with the mashed bananas, vanilla extract, and sea salt, stirring until well mixed.
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for about 60 minutes.
- Once firm, shape the mixture into small balls (about 1 inch in size).
- Roll each truffle in cocoa powder, shredded coconut, or finely chopped nuts.
- Refrigerate the coated truffles for another 30 minutes before serving.
- Serve chilled and enjoy!
