Ingredients

- 2–3 ripe bananas
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup milk (dairy or plant-based)
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Mash the ripe bananas in a mixing bowl until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, mix the flour with the baking powder.
- Add the eggs, milk, and melted butter to the mashed bananas and combine.
- Slowly add the dry ingredients to the banana mixture, stirring gently until combined.
- Preheat a skillet over medium heat and lightly grease it.
- Pour a ladleful of batter onto the skillet and sprinkle with chocolate chips or walnuts if desired.
- Cook until bubbles form on the surface (about 2-3 minutes), then flip and cook until golden brown (1-2 minutes).
- Repeat with remaining batter, ensuring the skillet is heated properly between batches.
Notes
For gluten-free versions, substitute with almond or coconut flour. For dairy-free, replace milk with almond or oat milk.
