  • 2 tbsp melted butter

Instructions

  1. Mash the ripe bananas in a mixing bowl until smooth.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix the flour with the baking powder.
  3. Add the eggs, milk, and melted butter to the mashed bananas and combine.
  4. Slowly add the dry ingredients to the banana mixture, stirring gently until combined.
  5. Preheat a skillet over medium heat and lightly grease it.
  6. Pour a ladleful of batter onto the skillet and sprinkle with chocolate chips or walnuts if desired.
  7. Cook until bubbles form on the surface (about 2-3 minutes), then flip and cook until golden brown (1-2 minutes).
  8. Repeat with remaining batter, ensuring the skillet is heated properly between batches.
