- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil or melted butter
- 1 cup crushed Oreos
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a muffin tray with paper liners.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, combine buttermilk, eggs, and oil or melted butter until well blended.
- Gradually pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients, stirring gently until just combined.
- Fold in the crushed Oreos.
- Divide the batter among the muffin cups, filling them three-quarters full.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean with a few moist crumbs.
- Allow to cool slightly before transferring to a wire rack. Enjoy warm!
