- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda

- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup milk (whole or buttermilk)
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil or melted butter
- 1 cup crushed Oreos
- 1/2 cup optional chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare your muffin tin by lining with paper liners or lightly greasing each cup.
- Whisk together your dry ingredients: flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a mixing bowl.
- Combine your wet ingredients: milk, eggs, and vegetable oil (or melted butter) in another bowl, whisking until well blended.
- Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring gently until just combined.
- Fold in the crushed Oreos and optional chocolate chips.
- Spoon the batter into the prepared muffin tins, filling each cup about two-thirds full.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the muffins cool in the tin for about 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
For added richness, you can drizzle melted chocolate over the tops once cooled. Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
