- 4 ripe but firm pears (Bosc or Bartlett)
- 4 oz goat cheese, crumbled
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/2 cup dried cranberries
- 1/4 cup walnuts or pecans, chopped (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cut the pears in half lengthwise and remove the cores.
- Arrange the pear halves cut side up in a baking dish and drizzle with honey.
- Crumble goat cheese into each pear half, distributing evenly.
- Scatter dried cranberries around and on top of the pears.
- If using, sprinkle chopped nuts over the dish.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until pears are fork-tender and cheese is melted.
- Let cool for a minute before serving. Drizzle with more honey if desired.
Notes
Feel free to add a splash of orange juice for extra flavor, or substitute goat cheese with feta or ricotta.
