Ingredients

  • 1 cup plain full-fat yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons paprika (sweet or smoked)
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine yogurt, paprika, minced garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and pepper to create the marinade.
  2. Add the drumsticks to the bowl and coat them generously with the marinade. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.
  3. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  4. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it. Arrange the marinated drumsticks on the sheet, ensuring they are spaced apart.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for about 35-45 minutes or until the drumsticks are cooked through and reach an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C). Optional: Turn on the broiler for the last 5 minutes for extra crispiness.
  6. Let the drumsticks rest for a few minutes before serving. Drizzle with remaining yogurt sauce and sprinkle with fresh herbs if desired.
