- 8 chicken drumsticks
- 1 cup plain full-fat yogurt
- 2 tablespoons paprika (sweet or smoked)
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine yogurt, paprika, minced garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and pepper to create the marinade.
- Add the drumsticks to the bowl and coat them generously with the marinade. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it. Arrange the marinated drumsticks on the sheet, ensuring they are spaced apart.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 35-45 minutes or until the drumsticks are cooked through and reach an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C). Optional: Turn on the broiler for the last 5 minutes for extra crispiness.
- Let the drumsticks rest for a few minutes before serving. Drizzle with remaining yogurt sauce and sprinkle with fresh herbs if desired.
