- 1 round wheel of Brie cheese
- 1 sheet of puff pastry
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 2 teaspoons fresh thyme leaves
- 1 egg, beaten
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface until thin.
- Place the brie in the center of the pastry and drizzle honey over it. Sprinkle with fresh thyme.
- Fold the pastry around the brie, sealing it tightly.
- Brush the exterior with the beaten egg.
- Transfer to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, until golden brown.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving with crackers or a baguette.
Notes
Consider adding sautéed garlic for extra flavor. Be careful not to overbake.
