Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef (80% lean)
  • 6 slices bacon
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese
  • 4 pretzel buns
  • 1 onion, diced
  • Fresh herbs (parsley or chives)
  • Condiments (ketchup, mustard, barbecue sauce)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Sauté diced onions in olive oil over medium heat until caramelized.
  3. In a bowl, mix ground beef with sautéed onions, salt, pepper, and herbs. Form small patties.
  4. Cook bacon in the same skillet until crispy, then chop into bite-sized pieces.
  5. Cook patties in bacon fat or grill until an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C).
  6. Assemble sliders with lettuce, patties, bacon, cheese, and condiments on the bottom half of the pretzel bun.
  7. Top with the other half of the bun and bake for 5-7 minutes until cheese melts.
  8. Let rest briefly before serving.
