Description
Delightful pockets of flaky crust filled with juicy ground beef, crispy bacon, and melted cheddar cheese, perfect for family dinners or gatherings.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb ground beef
- 8 slices thick-cut bacon
- 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 can crescent dough or puff pastry
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- Fresh herbs (parsley or chives), chopped
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels, leaving some fat in the skillet.
- Sauté the chopped onion in the bacon fat until translucent (about 3-5 minutes).
- Add ground beef, seasonings, and cook until no longer pink (about 7 minutes).
- Chop bacon and mix it with beef and half of the cheese.
- Roll out crescent dough, place filling in the center of each triangle, fold and seal.
- Place bombs on a baking sheet, top with remaining cheese, and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
For added flavor, mix different types of cheese and don’t overload the filling for easier sealing.
