Description

Delightful pockets of flaky crust filled with juicy ground beef, crispy bacon, and melted cheddar cheese, perfect for family dinners or gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 8 slices thick-cut bacon
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 can crescent dough or puff pastry
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Fresh herbs (parsley or chives), chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels, leaving some fat in the skillet.
  3. Sauté the chopped onion in the bacon fat until translucent (about 3-5 minutes).
  4. Add ground beef, seasonings, and cook until no longer pink (about 7 minutes).
  5. Chop bacon and mix it with beef and half of the cheese.
  6. Roll out crescent dough, place filling in the center of each triangle, fold and seal.
  7. Place bombs on a baking sheet, top with remaining cheese, and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For added flavor, mix different types of cheese and don’t overload the filling for easier sealing.
