- For Glaze: 1 cup Powdered Sugar, 2 tablespoons Apple Cider
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, sugars, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- In another bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, and melted butter until combined.
- Gradually pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, mixing gently until a dough forms.
- Fold in chopped apples until evenly distributed in the dough.
- Lightly flour a surface and roll the dough into a 1-inch thick disc, then cut out donut holes.
- Heat oil in a large pot to 350°F (175°C).
- Fry the donut holes in batches for 3-4 minutes until golden brown, then drain on paper towels.
- Prepare the glaze by whisking powdered sugar and apple cider until smooth.
- Dip the cooled donut holes in the glaze and serve warm.

For best results, maintain oil temperature and avoid overmixing the dough. Serve warm with apple cider or coffee for a delightful treat.
