- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 cup milk chocolate chips
- 1 cup toasted coconut
- 1 cup chopped almonds
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease or line a 9×13-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
- Cream the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar together until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, then add the vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and baking powder. Gradually mix this into the wet ingredients until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips, toasted coconut, and chopped almonds evenly.
- Spread the mixture into the prepared baking dish and smooth the top. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- Allow to cool for 10 minutes in the pan, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before cutting into squares.
- Enjoy warm or store in an airtight container for up to a week.
Notes
For a dairy-free option, substitute butter with coconut oil. You can also use dark chocolate chips for a richer flavor.
