Ingredients

- 1 tablespoon sugar
- Pinch of salt
- 1 sheet nori (seaweed)
- 100g fresh sushi-grade salmon, cut into strips
- 50g imitation crab or real crab
- 1 avocado, sliced
- Sprinkle of sesame seeds
Instructions
- Rinse sushi rice under cold water until it runs clear. Cook according to package instructions, then let it cool slightly.
- Mix rice vinegar, sugar, and salt into the cooled rice.
- Lay a bamboo sushi mat with plastic wrap and place a nori sheet shiny-side down.
- Spread a thin layer of sushi rice over the nori, leaving a 1-inch gap at the top.
- In the center, layer strips of salmon, pieces of crab, and avocado slices. Add sesame seeds if desired.
- Roll it up tightly using the mat, moisten the top edge to seal the roll.
- Slice into bite-sized pieces and serve with soy sauce, pickled ginger, and wasabi.
