Description

A delightful sushi roll featuring fresh salmon, creamy avocado, and a touch of sweetness from crab, perfect for sharing with family and friends.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup sushi rice
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 sheet nori (seaweed)
  • 100g fresh sushi-grade salmon, cut into strips
  • 50g imitation crab or real crab
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • Sprinkle of sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Rinse sushi rice under cold water until it runs clear. Cook according to package instructions, then let it cool slightly.
  2. Mix rice vinegar, sugar, and salt into the cooled rice.
  3. Lay a bamboo sushi mat with plastic wrap and place a nori sheet shiny-side down.
  4. Spread a thin layer of sushi rice over the nori, leaving a 1-inch gap at the top.
  5. In the center, layer strips of salmon, pieces of crab, and avocado slices. Add sesame seeds if desired.
  6. Roll it up tightly using the mat, moisten the top edge to seal the roll.
  7. Slice into bite-sized pieces and serve with soy sauce, pickled ginger, and wasabi.

Notes

Ensure ingredients are fresh for the best flavor. Overfilling can lead to messy rolls; balance is key.
