- 1 medium spaghetti squash
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced (or 1 teaspoon garlic powder)
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- Fresh herbs (basil, parsley, or thyme), optional
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Cut the spaghetti squash in half lengthwise and scoop out the seeds.
- Drizzle olive oil over the cut sides and season generously with garlic, salt, and pepper.
- Place the squash halves cut side down in the air fryer basket.
- Cook for 15-20 minutes, or until fork-tender.
- Let it cool for a few minutes, then use a fork to scrape the flesh of the squash into strands.
- Toss the strands in your favorite sauce or serve with sautéed vegetables or cheese.
Notes
For a vegan option, use nutritional yeast for a cheesy flavor. Experiment with spices for extra flavor.
