Description

A quick and elegant dish that combines sweet crab with a savory, garlicky sauce over perfectly cooked linguine.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz linguine
  • 1 cup fresh crab meat
  • 3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
  • Fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil and cook the linguine according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water before draining.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté until golden and fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
  3. Gently fold in the crab meat and heat for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Toss the drained linguine into the skillet with the crab, adding a splash of reserved pasta water, lemon juice, crushed red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in freshly chopped parsley. Serve with extra parsley and a lemon wedge for garnish.

Notes

Ensure to reserve pasta water and don’t overcook the garlic for optimal flavor.
